How can you turn a photo into LEGO-style artwork?
The LEGO Style Photo Tool transforms an ordinary photograph into an image that looks as though it has been built from colourful plastic bricks. It recreates the familiar appearance of interlocking toy bricks by simplifying colours, dividing the picture into brick-sized sections and adding realistic studs, shadows and surface detail.
The effect works especially well on pets, vehicles, buildings, landscapes and other photographs with bold shapes and colourful subjects.

What the app does
The tool converts your photograph into a brick mosaic while still keeping the original subject easy to recognise. You can control the size of the bricks, the amount of colour reduction, the depth of the studs and the strength of the brick outlines, allowing you to create anything from a subtle toy-like appearance to a bold construction made from large blocks.
Several brick styles and quick presets are included, making it easy to find a look that suits your picture before fine-tuning the individual controls.
How to use the tool
Click Upload Image or drag a photograph into the upload area. Once your image appears, choose one of the brick styles or a preset to create an instant starting point.
Adjust the sliders until you're happy with the appearance of the bricks, then choose your preferred download format and save the finished image as a new file.

Understanding the controls
Brick Size changes the size of each brick, while Colour Levels controls how many colours are used in the finished image. Fewer colours produce a more traditional toy-like appearance.
Stud Depth adjusts the raised studs on each brick, and Grid Lines controls how clearly the individual bricks are separated.
Rounded Studs changes the appearance of the studs, Colour Richness adjusts the strength of the colours, Contrast adds more definition between light and dark areas, Brick Shadow increases the three-dimensional effect, and Vignette gently darkens the outer edges of the image.
You can also choose different Brick Surface finishes to create smoother plastic bricks, stronger bevels or a flatter printed mosaic style.
Brick styles and presets
The built-in Classic Bricks, Bold Bricks and Soft Mosaic styles provide different starting points for different subjects. Quick presets are also available for natural-looking brick models, brighter colours, portraits and landscape scenes.
After selecting a preset, every slider remains available so you can customise the result to suit your own photograph.
Experiment before downloading
The Undo, Redo, Original Image, Reset and Randomise buttons make it easy to compare different versions without changing your original photograph.
When you're satisfied with the result, simply download the finished image as a JPG, PNG or WebP file. Your original photo remains untouched throughout the editing process.
